MSN Configuration :

X10Dispatch logs onto MSN and maintains a presence just like anyone else would.  Therefore it should have its own MSN Account.  You would set up this msn account from msn messenger, not X10Dispatch.  Just remember the email address and password of the account you just created so that you can enter that information into X10Dispatcher.  Also after signing up the new msn account using msn messenger, make your that msn messenger stays logged out of that new X10Dispatcher account, either by changing it to log in as a different account or by configuring it to not 'sign in automatically'.

You configure X10Dispatcher's MSN settings from the MSN tab in the Settings screen.

On this screen you have :

MSN Logon Email : The email address you used when registering your X10Dispatcher's MSN Account.
MSN Logon Password : The password you assigned when registering your X10Dispatcher's MSN Account.
Log On Automatically : This option tells X10Dispatcher to log on as soon as it is started, and stay logged until it closes.

Trusted Contact :  This is your security mechansim.  Since X10 Dispatcher uses up one MSN Account, it needs another to talk to.  You probably already have an existing MSN Messenger account which you use to talk to other people.  If not, then make a second one and use that whenever you are away (like at work), so that you can communicate with your home X10Dispatcher.  The email address which your second MSN Account is associated with must be entered as the trusted contact, before you can communicate with it.  This means you dont 'have' to hide your X10Dispatcher account name, it can be plainly visible in your contact list and anyone can try adding it to their buddy list, but Only if you are logged on as the trusted contact can you talk to X10Dispatcher.  That's the security... MSN Security/Passwords.

Greeting (Trusted) : This message is what X10Dispatcher greets you with when you begin talking to it.  This feature is mainly for egotistical indulgences or, i mean, to verify that X10Dispatcher is ready to receive commands.

Rebuke (Not Trusted) : If anyone other than the Trusted Contact tries to talk to X10Dispatcher, it will display this message.  Feel free to be as polite or rude as you would like.

In the future, I will probably support muliple trusted contacts, but for now if you remotely access X10Dispatcher from multiple locations it will have to using the single 'Trusted Contact' MSN Account.
